1. How do I create a Nickname with Paltalk Express?
Creating a Nickname for Paltalk Express is easy. If you are at the Registration Window, just fill out the form fields and click the button labeled "Register". If you are at the Login Screen, click the link labeled "Join Now". This will take you to the Registration Window.

2. What is “Secret Question and Answer”?
This is a secret piece of information that you share with us. If you ever forget your password, or if we ever need to verify your identity we will ask you the Security Question you have provided us when you registered. You must answer the Security Queston with the Security Answer you provided when you registered.


3. I forgot my password, what do I do?
Click the link labeled "Forgot Password" on the Login page.
4. How do I change my password?
You must login in order to change your password. Once logged in, click the menu item labeled "Links", then click "MyPaltalk". This will take you to a new screen where you can click on the link labeled "Change My Password".

5. How do I edit my User Information?
Click on the menu item labeled "Links", then click "MyPaltalk". From here you can change your password, upgrade your subscription, change your email address, etc.

6. I forgot my “Secret Question and Answer”, how do I get them back?
You can get online and seek help about this in help rooms and Palhelp will give you instructions.
7. How do I remove Nicknames from the Login Window on the front page?
Click "File" on the Paltalk Express menu bar. Then, choose "Setup Preferences" from the drop-down menu. Click "Manage Accounts". Click "Delete All". Then click "Ok".

8. I don’t want Paltalk Express to remember my Nicknames.
On the Login Screen, click the checkbox underneath the Nickname drop-down box.
9. I registered a Nickname but I want to delete it for good. How do I do that ?
Technically you cannot delete a nickname. However, if you stop using it, it will be purged after certain amount of time of our server.
10. What are the requirements for registering a Nickname?
We only need an email address, and a Security Question/Answer. That's it!
11. Can I change my Nickname?
You cannot change your nickname but you can create new a nickname.
12. What is a “Guest” Nickname ?
A "Guest" Nickname is a temporary Paltalk Express account. The Nickname is not saved from session to session, but is instead used to promote and encourage participation through ease of entry into our Shows.

13. I cannot type or speak using the Guest account. What should I do ?
The Guest account has limited interaction ability. If you would like to interact with other Paltalk Users, just register for a Basic (free) Account. Or better yet! Upgrade to a Paid Subscription and get Video!

14. I get an “Instance Error”. What does that mean?
If you get this error, it means you already have Paltalk Express running in your browser.
15. How do I change my display picture?
Click on the "Links" menu item on the Paltalk Express menubar. Then, click "MyPaltalk". Click on the drop-down box labeled "Profile" and choose "Change my Picture".

16. How do I remove my display picture ?
Click on the "Links" menu item on the Paltalk Express menubar. Then, click "MyPaltalk". Click on the drop-down box labeled "Profile" and choose "Change my Picture".

17. How do I add a display picture from my profile?
Click on the "Links" menu item on the Paltalk Express menubar. Then, click "MyPaltalk". Click on the drop-down box labeled "Profile" and choose "Change my Picture".

18. How do I upload a display picture from my computer ?
Click on the "Links" menu item on the Paltalk Express menubar. Then, click "MyPaltalk". Click on the drop-down box labeled "Profile" and choose "Change my Picture". Under the heading 'Upload Photos', you will see a field labeled 'Filename', along with a Browser button. Use the Browse button to navigate to the file on your computer. Click 'Open' to load the file URL into the Filename field. Enter a caption for the photo you are uploading in the caption field. Finally, click the 'Submit' button to upload the photo to our servers.





19. How do I make changes on my profile?
Making changes to your profile is easy! Click on the "Links" menu item on the Paltalk Express menubar. Then, click "MyPaltalk". Click on the drop-down box labeled "Profile" and choose "Edit my Profile Page".

20. How do I change my status?
To change your status, click on the 'Actions' menu item on the Paltalk Express Menu Bar. Select 'Change My Status' to reveal the four different Status Modes available to you. Choose a Status Mode by clicking on the item. A dot should appear next to the mode indicating a change. You can also check (and change) your Status under the Paltalk Express logo. Click on the blue arrow to change your status as appropriate.


21. How can I change the theme of Paltalk Express?
To change the theme of Paltalk Express, click on the 'File' menu item on the Paltalk Express Menu Bar. Select 'Setup Preferences' and choose 'Themes' in the Settings and Preferences window. Select your theme as appropriate.

22. Will there be more themes for Paltalk Express in the future ?
We have re-designed Paltalk Express to be more skinnable than before. However, we are still working on bringing that functionality to you in a way thats convenient and easy to use.

23. How do I create Custom Away Messages ?
To create (and change) a Custom Away Message, click on the 'Actions' Menu Item in the Paltalk Express MenuBar. Choose 'Change My Status' to reveal a new drop-down menu window. Towards the bottom of the window, you will see choices for 'Create A Custom Message' as well as managing previously created Custom Messages. Click on the choice appropriate for your needs.


24. How do I reset my Custom Away Messages ?
To create (and change) a Custom Away Message, click on the 'Actions' Menu Item in the Paltalk Express MenuBar. Choose 'Change My Status' to reveal a new drop-down menu window. Towards the bottom of the window, choose 'Reset to No Message' in order to clear a Custom Message from your Status.


25. How do I manage/delete my Custom Away Messages ?
To create (and change) a Custom Away Message, click on the 'Actions' Menu Item in the Paltalk Express MenuBar. Choose 'Change My Status' to reveal a new drop-down menu window. Towards the bottom of the window, choose 'Manage A Custom Message' to reveal a list of all your saved Custom Messages. In this list you can delete any message, or close the window.


26. I get a “tc-5022” error. What does that mean ?
This means, you are trying to get into a room you are already in.
27. How can I see someone’s profile ?
Select someone's Nickname, and Right-Click to reveal a context-menu. Choose 'View Profile' to see their profile.
28. How can I see someone’s profile pictures ?
Select someone's Nickname, and Right-Click to reveal a context-menu. Choose 'View Profile' to see their profile. Click on 'Photos' to see photos uploaded by a user.

29. Can I log on Paltalk Express with multiple users ?
It is not possible to log on to Paltalk Express with multiple users in the same session.
